Okay Frank you’re a PI and you should know those nasty business, it's actually my sister's computer, which I think is hacked. Something quite strange happened a few minutes ago. I was in my room, watching something online when suddenly I heard a strange sound coming from the kitchen. I should mention that I was alone at home and my sister had left her laptop in the kitchen; she had left it turned on because she was loading a movie that she wanted to watch later. Okay, so I went to the kitchen to check what the sound was and I was shocked at what I saw; a new tab had been opened and there was a pornographic video playing on that site. Also, I quickly noticed that the webcam light was turned on. This sort of frightened me a bit. I looked around the house to make sure no one had broken in but the doors were all locked and everything seemed in place. I had been in the kitchen a few times prior to this and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I had even glanced at her computer a few times and hadn't noticed anything strange about it. Can someone hack her computer and do something like this?
All the best

Ryan honestly you’re wasting my time this is a BS question, and I am sure a development of your sick imagination you are a Troll. However to answerer your first paragraph NO I don’t know any “Nasty business” if you are interest to nasty business you should ask a colleague Fay Faron she is a PI and also she has a book out “ A Nasty Bit of Business” perfect book for dysfunctional persons like you. Now let me give you a bit of education over this idiotic question of yours. It’s doubtful. This isn’t the movie, people cant just magically hack your computer IDIOT.
To gain access to your computer you need to:
-Have physical access to it
-Be connected to the network your computer is on
-Have someone download a trojan
Those are the only wants someone can gain access to your computer.
The 3rd one is the most common, as going to sites for piracy is a common way to get trojans, as people "crack" software and give it our for "free". Also you can get trojans from javascript on pages, so visiting shady sites can give you a trojan w/o you even knowing it.
As for the webcam thing, it’s actually pretty easy to take control of. Any site that has flash embedded on it can take control of your mic/webcam. And people can make it invisible, and make the click ok to allow use of webcam/mic button invisible and be placed under your cursor (and follow it) on a page with javascript.
So id say, first restart that computer, and get malwarebytes (http://malwarebytes.org/ ) and run a scan. It could have just been something of the latter, where you were basically just clickjacked into turning on the webcam, meaning since you restarted your computer, thats all gone.
wtf are you retarded?
"A skilled hacker can turn on your webcam WITHOUT the light coming on to alert you that you are being recorded."
o yes, those hackers that are able to just hack into the webcam at a hardware level and turn off the light.... o yes... i forgot about those hackers that can do that....
"hackers can remotely turn on your webcam to do keylogging"
o yes, they are able to get a trojan on your computer, but instead of just using a keylogging program, they use the webcam (THAT CANT EVEN SEE THE FKING KEYBOARD U TARD) and keylog that way, o yes, that sound reasonable...
seriously wtf is with all these fking idiots who try to sound like they know wtf they are talking about on here. Grow-up IDIOT
